Texas Hold’em Poker Table Rules

The poker in Texas Hold’em, once the game starts, You can not buy new chips or borrow chips from one player to another.

You have more chances to bet, each time the bet goes up. It is up to you if you continue the game or to get off. The winnings are big when the as the final player is the bet total.

When the game start, you decide which button will be the “parent”. Each player draws a card and the person who drew the strongest card is placed on the table with a mark next to the button.

1. Preflop

The left side of the button is Small Blind (SB) and the left side of Small Blind is Big Blind (BB). And each player gets two cards. After the cards have been dealt clockwise from the Small Blind (SB), The Big Blind (BB) must force the minimum bet amount determined at that table, and the Small Blind (SB) must force half the minimum bet amount.

The player on the left of Big Blind (BB) called under the gun (UTG), decides whether to call (continue the game) with the bet amount of Big Blind. At this point, you only have to make a decision with the two cards dealt. You can fold it down, call and bet the same amount as Big Blind to continue the game, or raise (raise the bet amount). Since Small Blind and Big Blind have already placed bets, checks (passing, watching how other players act) can not be used in preflop. Checks can only be used when no one has placed a bet in that round. If someone raises, the next player has to decide whether to call or fold at that raise.

The situation when the button at the time of preflop has been turned and when the game continues to the button, the forced bets small blind and big blind will be given the choice to continue the game. The action given to small blind and big blind at the end of this preflop is called an option.

At this time, if another player is raising small blind selects a fold, call, or raise and big blind also decides whether to raise, fold or call. If small blind or big blind raises as an option, other players also decide whether to call, raise or fold with that raise amount. In order to advance to the next stage, all players who continue the game must have the same bet amount. When everyone reaches the same bet amount, we move on to the next stage and all the previous bets (including those we fold) are collected in the pot.

2) Flop
The flop opens three cards face up in the center of the table. The card opened in the center is a common card that everyone uses and is called a community card. Call, fold and raise again from Small Blind. There is still the fun of being able to win if all the other players fold. Texas Hold’em is an important game for strategies. And the folded player’s card will not reveal until the end of the game.

At this point we look at the possibility of what role could be made with the two cards in hand, 5 of the 3 central community cards combined, and what could be made after this.

Call if fold and raise again from small blind(SB). If you make a call, you must place your bet again. For the bet amount, the remaining players decide whether to call, fold or rise. A bullish person is likely to have a good hand here, but there is also the possibility of a strategy to make other players fold. This psychological war is also the best in poker.

If you already have a role here, then it may be a better hand, but consider other players’ hands. Sometimes they end up with a high card (no role). There is still the fun of being able to win if all the other players fold. Texas Hold’em is an important game for tactics. By the way, the folded player’s hand is not revealed until the end.

If small blind(SB) checks on the flop. A check is made to get the next player’s action, but if several players continue to make a check and one player places a bet, the other player may call this bet to continue or fold. It will be decided whether it will be added by raising. Continue this process as you would preflop, until everyone’s bet amounts are complete. If everyone turns in a check, we will advance to the next stage without betting.

If there is a call and there are two or more players left, everyone’s bets will be added to the pot and will advance to the next round. When the players become two and the bet amount is complete, at this point, it will be a showdown (open hand) and you will see the outcome.

3) Turn

The fourth common card is opened face-up on the community card. As with the flop, process will go to the players every turn until each bet is done.

4) River
The last card in the community card is opened face up. As with the turn, the players check, check, call, fold and raise each player until their bet amounts are complete.

If the bet jumps up while playing and you can not bet the same amount but you do not want to leave the game, you are considered as an “all-in / full game” and you can continue the game until the showdown.

For example, if someone has all-in, you also have a good hand and want to play, but you do not have the same amount of chips as the all-in player, etc., then all the chips you have at that time You can bet all in. In that case, the bet amount is not complete, and it will be a disadvantage to the player who has made all-in first, so a side pot will be placed.

In the side pot, for example, it is assumed that player A moves in for $ 100. You only have € 50 left. However, I do not want to fold, so I can go all-in for $ 50. The next player B is all-in with all chips € 150. In such a case, the smallest $ 50 for you and $ 50 for players A and B enter the pot. There is no other player who can move in with a maximum price of $ 150, and there is no other player who can move all in at the same price, so it can only return all in with the same price of player A for $ 100, and $ 50 will be returned. And the remaining $ 50 of players A and B go into the side pot.

As a result, if you win, the bet amount in the pot will be yours. However, bets in the side pot will be won by players with stronger hands between players A and B. If either player A or B wins, both the pot and the side pot can be taken.

When one round is over, the button, small blind, and big blind move to the left one by one. The button is the most advantageous position as it can be triggered last after seeing the actions of all players.
